Item Description:
This necklace is a 6 Star-Studded (pun intended :) Basket Prong Star Shaped Settings with 3 total natural Citrine Stars on a 16.75 inch / 42.5 cm long cable chain Necklace, with an approximately 2 inch / 5 cm adjustable chain on the back so it can be worn tighter around the neck at 14.75 inches / 37.5 cm with a small lobster clasp. 2 medium natural Citrine Stars sized at 3/8 inch / 1 cm, and the large center piece natural Citrine at ½ inch / 1.3 cm. The Necklace begins with 2 small natural Lemon Quartz Stars just over ¼ inch / 0.7 cm and then finishes with a dangling, hanging natural Lemon Quartz Star of the same size; ¼ inch / 0.7 cm.

It's a lovely piece for women who love Marigolds, Yellows and Stars. It has a playful and youthful vibe, however being on Gold-Plated 925 Sterling Silver as well as being made with Semi-Precious Natural Gemstones it gives it a luxurious, designer feel.

The Basket settings in the back are open so the Gemstones will pick up color from the back. That could be your skin or clothing as you can see in the photos they are picking up the colors of the velvet neck form we are photographing on. For example, if you wear it on a high neck red garment it would pick up the red tones from the back of the Gemstones. I think you get the idea.

Even though it's a playful piece I still couldn't imagine it being worn too causual. The only semi-casual look I could see it in would be slim-fit designer jeans, but it would have to be a dressier blouse, like a silk or poly silk top and a dressy sandal or shoe. I think the silhouettes that really work best would be dresses or skirts, long or short but I see this piece working really best with dresses. This piece would look good in white, black, camel, yellow of course, red, orange, and even green. Fabrics that I could see this piece working well with would be silks or poly-silks, or very thin light fabrics like a thin cotton. I don't see this piece working well with busy prints, busy brocades or noisy fabrics. Because the piece already speaks a lot on it's own, I really see it shining on solids. The only exceptions would be very light tight prints. Think a very light, tight floral print on a white or cream, or a very large print, like those large prints where they look like brush strokes. In either case you're getting less noise from the print and letting this piece speak on it's own. Maybe it's the Citrine and Yellows, but this piece really speaks daytime to me and I see it working best for day events.

It's definitely a unique one-of a kind piece that is perfect for Citrine lovers, Star lovers or even better for Citrine and Star lovers.
